Celebrate National Library Week: McCain Library Goes Mobile.

Just in time to celebrate National Library Week, the McCain Library is please to release of its new mobile website!

The McCain Library Mobile site is designed to help you quickly access key research tools from your mobile phone for searching on the go.  Here are just a few of the items featured on the McCain Mobile site:

    • Find images in ArtSTOR (register for an account from a campus computer)
    • Search beta version of JSTOR Mobile
    • Save research to RefWorks Mobile (contact us for the group code)

Get ARTstor on Your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch!

Are you a registered Artstor user?  If so, you can now access ARTstor images from your  iPad, iPhone, or  iPod Touch. 

ARTstor Mobile includes a  Flashcard View, which allows users to test their knowledge by viewing the image without textual information, and then flipping the image to reveal the image record.  ARTstor Mobile is only available through the Safari browser, just go to http://library.artstor.org  from your mobile device. RefWorks Goes Mobile

Manage your research wherever you go, whatever you do with RefMobile. It’s research on the go—made easy! All you need is a Web-connected mobile device: mobile phone, smart phone or PDA. RefMobile gives users immediate access to the most commonly used RefWorks functions, including searching their entire RefWorks databases, viewing references by folders, adding and removing references from folders, creating new folders, and adding comments to Notes fields. Users can also efficiently import new references to their RefWorks account using the new SmartAdd feature.

Want to use RefMobile now? Make sure you have signed up for a free account at McCain Library first and have the ASC Group Code. Then use your web-connected phone or PDA to go to www.refworks.com/mobile. It’s that easy.
