July Literary Events in Atlanta


Hope you had a wonderful June! Here’s a sampling of literary events going on in Atlanta next month; why not make some time in your schedule and swing by?

On July 11th, Marc Fitten will be doing a reading of his new book, Elza’s Kitchen, at the Jimmy Carter Library. He will also be signing copies of his book. The event is free and open to the public. More details can be found here.

On July 19th, Ghanian vice president John Dramani Mahama will be doing a reading of his new book, My First Coup d’Etat, at the Jimmy Carter Library. He will also be signing copies of his book. The event is free and open to the public. More details can be found here.

On July 25th, the Decatur Library will be hosting Poetry Atlanta Presents…, an evening of regional poetry. This event is free and open to the public. More details can be found here.

Oh July 30th, Chris Bohjalian will be doing a reading of his new book, The Sandcastle Girls. He will also be signing copies of his book bought at the event. The event is free and open to the public. More details can be found here.
