Hello Scotties,

The event I want to highlight today is presented to you by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra:

The Program includes pieces by Copland, Bernstein, and Walton, an I definitely encourage you to get OUT and experience this event.

Some resources we have in the library that would be related to this even are:

  • Appalachian spring [sound recording] Copland [Call #: M (cd) .C79 su/or/se 1988]
  • Chichester psalms / Leonard Bernstein [Call #:M (cd) .B458 sgs/ ch-or/ 1990 ]
  • Belshazzar’s feast / Walton. [Call #: M (cd) .W26 ca/ ch-or/ 1989]
  • Belshazzar’s feast [sound recording] ; Suite from Henry V / Walton [Call #: M (cd) .W26 ca/ch/ 1986]

This event will also present the chance to experience, in person, the ASO Chorus.

So there you have it. This event is not free, but I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity regardless as I believe it will be worth it.

And remember, before you go OUT… well you know the rest =)
