Celebrate National Black Cat Day with a Spooky Read

National Black Cat Day is October 27, and this year we are celebrating with one of Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling tales of horror, “The Black Cat.” This haunting short story follows an alcoholic overcome with guilt after he murdered his dear cat, Pluto. The man is constantly reminded of his act of wrath until his guilt overcomes him and leads him to commit another heinous crime. The cat will not let him forget what he has done, and soon he will pay for his crimes.
