Course Reserves for Spring 2021

Wait! Before you purchase textbooks, check if your required readings are freely available through McCain Library’s Course Reserves service. The library has worked hard to find digital copies of your Course Reserves to give you the most affordable college experience. To verify what course readings are on reserve, search the Find Course tab on the library homepage or the WorldCat Course Reserves page.

Through WorldCat, you can search by Course Number, Instructor, or Department. If you want to check on a specific text, search WorldCat Discovery by title. Many instructors are also including Course Reserve links on the course’s Canvas page. If you cannot find your required readings on reserve, double check with your professor to check that they have requested them.

Library staff are doing their best to make as many textbooks as possible accessible as eBooks through the Course Reserves service. If the library only owns a physical copy of the reserve book, we are able to scan and share sections of the book electronically in two-hour increments (as happens when services are functioning normally in-person). Please email accessservice@agnesscott.edu to request electronic access to print reserves. If a needed title is not found in our Course Reserves system, please let us know, and we will explore ordering options.

If you have questions about any of the above services, please email library@agnesscott.edu or phone 404-471-6094 during business hours. Many thanks for helping us serve students at a distance this spring. Be well!
