New Place for Night Owls to Study

Students (and library staff) missed having a 24/7 section of McCain Library last fall.  Thanks to an agreement with ITS, McCain G-11 (formerly the language lab and overflow tutoring space for the Writing Center) will be available this semester for students who still want a study spot after the main library closes.

McCain G-11 is on the ground floor. It will be on your left as you exit from the main library near the spiral staircase, or on your right if you are coming into the Educational Technology Center hallway from Alston.  Use your ASC ID at the card reader on the wall outside of the classroom, as well as at the exterior door if coming in from outside of McCain.

Occasionally ITS may need to relocate a class into G-11, but in the evenings or at 2:00 a.m., students normally should find it available for quiet study.  We’re hoping that you’ll help us keep it neat and tidy, so that this option can continue.  Thanks!
